Also known as "Hawk's Haven", Black Rock Ranch stands on 4.5 acres of property next to Black Rock Mountain State Park. This large 3 bed, 2 bath, ranch style house is almost 3,000 sq feet, and will sleep 7 persons.
 The master bedroom suite has a king-size, 4 poster canopied bed, with a bathroom en suite. A second bedroom has a queen size canopied bed and the third bedroom has a bunk bed, with a lower double and a single upper bed. A further bathroom is adjacent to these 2 bedrooms.
There also are two queen-sized sleeper sofas in the family room.
There is a downstairs laundry room with washer/dryer. Linens, bedding, towels, kitchen/toilet rolls, garbage bags, detergents, etc. are provided. The large kitchen has both a bar with stools, and a dining area. Dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave, fridge/freezer and range provide full self-catering opportunities. There is a huge deck running all the way around the house, with porch furniture/swing and a full view of the pasture below. A gate secures this deck, perfect for small children or pets.

The living room has a big rock, wood burning fireplace. There is central heating,
remote A/C in every room, plus ceiling fans. Seating and sofa, together with TV/cable/VCR/DVD and music center/CD make this area the center of the house.
Next to Black Rock Mountain State Park (see photo), two sides of the property adjoin the National Forest, and hiking trails leave the property right off the porch. An outside firepit and charcoal grill provide great "outdoor living." There also are apple, cherry and plum trees and blueberry/blackberry bushes on the property.
Many of our clients looking for privacy and space - not to mention the hours of fun spent in the great games room downstairs - return to Black Rock Ranch again and again. A pool table, table tennis, air hockey table, darts and a cards/poker table, make this spot a rainy-day funday - or just a great way to spend an evening.

Rates are for four (4) people. Extra persons are $15 per night or $75 per week.
Children under five are free.
Pets are $50 each for the weekend and $75 each for the week. Pet owners must muse parasite control, please.
There is a 12% lodging tax applicable to all stays under three months. There also is a $50 cleaning fee, but it is non-taxable.
A 50% deposit secures the rental. A separate check for $100 should be remitted as a security/damage deposit. This will be voided and returned after the departure inspection. Checks/money orders should be made payable to GMR Properties and mailed to P. O. Box 2084, Clayton, GA 30525, USA. The remaining balance, if not sent prior to arrival, should be paid in cash upon check-in. Check-in time is 3PM; check-out time is 11AM.
Our properties are non-smoking, but each has ample space outside for smokers.

Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be received in writing thirty (30) days prior to
arrival to be eligible for a refund. If the cancellation is less than
thirty
(30) days before the arrival date, we will attempt to rebook your
reservations. If we successfully rebook your reserved time period,
we will move you to another time slot only - no refunds after 30
days. If we are unable to rebook your reserved time period, your
deposit will be lost. All cancellations/refunds/time changes to
reservations will be charged a $30 administration fee. Christmas &
Thanksgiving holiday bookings are the exception - no refunds,
period.
